Join us for a full week of summer fun! Programs are held primarily outdoors, but campers will also have an opportunity to explore The James Boyd Children's Centre. Be sure to send campers with water, sunscreen, a hat, nut-free snacks, and clothing appropriate for the weather of the day. Camps will ONLY be moved inside in the event of severe or dangerous weather.

Caterpillar Camp FULL - Waiting List Only
If you’re just a little larva but love bugs, Caterpillar Camp is for you! You’ll go on bug hunts, collect and release insects in the garden, create buggy crafts and plant a variety of seeds that will either welcome or keep away insects.

Use all five senses to discover the magic of the Teaching Garden! This camp is full of games, stories, crafts and scavenger hunts that encourage children and parents to experience and explore nature together.

[TG08SGG] Join us for a camp designed to get beginner gardeners growing! You’ll play games and participate in activities that will teach the importance of all plants, from the tiniest sprouts to the tallest trees. Plant seeds, care for the garden and help harvest vegetables.

Furry and Feathered Friends Camp FULL - Waiting List Only
[TG08SFF] Be a part of our green team as we work together to make our garden a happy home for birds and animals. Grow your own bird seed and “cook” some special snacks for the chipmunks and chickadees to enjoy. We’ll track animals, call birds and play wildlife games.

[TG08SGC] Not for the faint of heart, this camp gets down and dirty with the slugs and bugs, vermin and fungus among us! Get personal with the coolest microbes, the hottest herptiles and the incredible ooze beneath our shoes. Daily adventures in the unexpected. Prepare to be amazed!

Junior Naturalists Camp FULL- Waiting List Only
[TG08SJN] This is a camp for kids who are serious about becoming nature experts and having a great time doing it! Campers will learn how nature works in our organic garden and the wooded ravine through activities, crafts and games. After a week at this camp you will earn your Junior Naturalist certificate.

Leadership Camp FULL - Waiting List Only
[TG08SLC] Are you ready to grow your mind, heart and skills? This full-day camp will introduce trust activities, group challenges and team-building. Campers will develop a deeper relationship with themselves, each other and the natural world while taking on essential roles in caring for our garden, forest and streams. Become an earth leader through drama, games, activities and sharing.
