Self-guided Tour
For visiting classes: Download our new self-guided tour and accompanying activity sheets.

The self-guided tour is designed to help teachers and students explore Toronto Botanical Garden and Edwards Gardens before or after their scheduled program time.

If you would like to book a self-guided tour along with your program call 416-397-1355.

Children’s Guided Tours
Fee: $5 per child and $1 per helper
Conditions: A minimum of 8 people is required for a group tour.

Tours are geared for children 7 to 16 years old and are 45 minutes to 1 hour in length. Reservations are required. Please book at least 2 weeks in advance.

• Natural and Cultural History of the Toronto Botanical Garden: Take a walk through the TBG grounds and Edwards Gardens to discover the history behind this beautiful Toronto Park. From its early history as a mill and country property, TBG and Edwards Gardens now acts as a natural and cultural oasis for plants, people and wildlife in the city. Discover its important role of Toronto’s natural and cultural future.
• Eco/Nature Tours: For environmental groups and Eco Clubs, tour TBG’s LEED-certified building and innovative water and energy-conserving gardens. Check out the green roof, straw bale shed and other exciting features from one of Toronto’s premier green buildings. Excellent for groups interested in discovering innovative ways to ensure we have healthy wildlife and waterways, people and land for the future.
