There are many forms of giving and not all involve money. Donating your time to our various programs or helping to plant trees is an essential and fulfilling form of giving. Providing needed tools and equipment to maintain the gardens is practical and functional. A gift of securities is easily facilitated by a financial advisor and can be financially tax-saving.

All methods can be rewarding and your giving will go a long way to support our many exceptional educational programs and services for the community.

Where does the money go?

Your interest and participation in Toronto Botanical Garden will make a world of difference. Each dollar you give will go directly into your area of choice and the results are real. Plants will be well-tended and gardens maintained to the highest standards, children will sow seeds as part of becoming stewards of the land and adults will learn the latest environmentally responsible practices for their gardens, neighbourhoods and surrounding natural spaces. The options are diverse and wide-ranging and it all depends on you.

TBG Operating Fund: Funds are used to support Children and Youth Education, Adult Education, Library Services, Community Events.

TBG Endowment Fund: A permanent fund supporting the upkeep and enhancement of the gardens.

TBG Capital Fund: Funds are used for special projects to create new gardens, building or infrastructure enhancements.
