TBG Members enjoy discounted pricing. TBG members receive a 10 per cent discount on their purchases at the TBG shop and café. In addition, members receive preferred rates on programs, lectures and special events.

Through regular correspondence, the Toronto Botanical Garden (TBG) will keep you well-informed about exciting upcoming horticultural events and topical gardening happenings both in Toronto and beyond. The TBG member's newsletter is chock full of tips, resources and need-to-know information that will help you enjoy the joys of gardening.

3. Gain access to one of Canada's largest horticultural collections
TBG members have exclusive borrowing privileges from the Weston Family Library which contains over 8,000 books, an extensive periodical collection, and a multimedia collection including videos and CD-ROMS. Renovated in 2005, the library has computer workstations, wireless internet access and plenty of work and reading space.

4. Help with the Greening of Toronto
TBG helps support community programs and works with other like-minded organizations to make Toronto a greener place to live. One example of our outreach programs is Green Adventure, which invites children who have limited access to outdoor education for a session in the Teaching Garden. Children in this program plant and harvest vegetables that are later donated to the local Food Bank
