A Taste of the Garden

Imagine food, wine and an early evening stroll through the TBG Gardens. If this exceptional combination catches your fancy, join Director of Horticulture Paul Zammit and Chef Simon Kattar for this event. Paul’s guided tour of the garden will focus on the interesting herbs and heirloom vegetables in the Herb and Kitchen Gardens. Then on to the café to enjoy complimentary wine and special appetizers created by à la Carte’s chef. Taste the subtle flavours of the garden and let Simon teach you the many different ways to use vegetables and herbs to spice up your cooking.

Who could not be dazed by the beauty of dahlias! With a blast of different colours, shapes, sizes and interesting leaves, dahlias bring life and beauty to your landscape in late summer and fall. Come for a guided tour of the dahlias being grown in the President’s Showcase Garden. Head Gardener Sandra Pella will introduce you to the many varieties of these lovely plants and instruct you on their care and maintenance. All participants will receive a free plant! The class takes place outdoors, rain or shine.
