Introduction
to Floral Design
Beginning with the basics, you will learn methods for creating beautiful
designs using a variety of plant materials. Just like a professional,
you will learn to select and condition flowers and foliage and combine
them into centrepieces and bouquets using elements and principles of design
and colour theory. Each week you will have a stunning flower arrangement
to take home with you. No previous experience necessary. A materials list
will be supplied upon registration. Fee does not include floral materials
or supplies. This
course can be applied to the floral design certificate program

Basic
(Traditional) Floral Design
[PG10S08] Judy James
Learn to create floral arrangements based on a traditional application
of the principles of design. In each class, you will learn plant material,
botanical names, containers, mechanics and all the techniques needed to
create a beautiful floral design to take home. Introduction to Floral
Design is suggested as a prerequisite. Fee does not include floral materials
or supplies.
